Cannabinoids are synthesized by Cannabigerolic Acid. CBG is the decarboxylated form of this acid that appears at low levels in most cannabis plants. Terpinene is a terpene that is found in cardamom and marjoram oil, and also in cannabis. It has a scent that is citrusy but at the same time dank and musky. Terpinene has been found to have anti-oxidant properties as well as being known for being a strong anti-inflammatory.

Pinene is a bicyclic monoterpene chemical compound. There are two structural isomers of pinene found in nature: α-pinene and β-pinene. It's most commonly recognized in nature as the fresh pine scent given off by trees in a living forest.
